Using Transcultural Resources
Basically each course in customized to meet the needs of organizations. Following is a description of basic themes that could be covered.
Content
Transculture is based on a wider definition of culture and also integrates aspects of brain research, psychology and sociology. It focuses on surfacing the simularities between us as a fruitful foundation for relationship building instead of on cultural specifics. The premise is that, a critical investigation of our collective values and interpretations is decisive if authentic and productive communication across cultures is to be achieved. In particular, this course presents a model for intervention development, the key to a better understanding of patterns in social interaction. As a result, the transcultural approach also addresses issues surrounding hierarchies, gender and age.
